Haunting Adeline Reviews
Review 1:
Incredibly unbelievable. How is a hacker similar to a vigilante or a stalker? Adding a crossing from Satan’s Affair, written by Christian fiction authors, becomes a work of art. The story’s twisted, sensuous, and sinister words captivated me.
I can’t put into words how I feel about this book. That’s cool. I didn’t know it could be turned into a duo because Book 1 is so long, but look at this! Y’ALL. The story’s twisted, sensuous, and sinister words captivated me.
The plots of the murder mystery and the stalking went hand-in-hand perfectly. Adeline was a fierce FMC who liked being scared and always had something to question.
Zade. What do I have to say about our MMC? He scared me. Throughout the story, I did go back and forth with that man. He made me want to be pinned to the floor and run away from him. We’ll just say Adeline is very lucky. He was a puzzle.
He saved a lot of lives and did bad things to bad people. Even though I didn’t trust what he did with Adeline, by the end of Book 1, I knew she was meant to be with his darkness.
Review 2:
It was totally ridiculous, and everything worked out just fine. First, the main male character, Zade, who stalks Addie, has his own business to stop rapists and people who trade women. But wait, he goes after Adeline and rapes her. His whole personality is a contradiction.
Like, dude, don’t act like you’re so great because you stop traffickers and rapists when all you want to be is one of them. I didn’t like anything about his personality.
Don’t even get me started on Adeline; she was like, “Let me bother this guy who is following me around and might kill me.” Not at all. That’s not something a sane person would do.
More about how unrealistic this book is. How the hell does Zade make enough money to run this business? Is he just a millionaire that nobody talks about? With all the high-tech gear they use and the crazy tricks they do, I’m pretty sure it can’t be cheap. Doesn’t make sense to me.
Second, they legally figure out who killed Genevieve by checking her blood DNA. Even though I don’t know much about DNA tests, you need something to compare the code to. I think Genevieve didn’t have access to DNA tests in the 1940s. That means they would have needed a DNA sample that was proven hers and wouldn’t have broken down. Yeah. Not at all possible.
Conclusion
“Haunting Adeline” is a dark and scary movie that shows how good H. D. Carlton is writing both physically and mentally gripping stories. The book is very interesting and scary because it discusses passion, deception, and the terrible effects of uncontrolled wants.
If you like psychological stories, you will love this one. It has a great setting, a twisty story, and people that are hard to understand. You should prepare for a scary ride in “Haunting Adeline,” where danger is around every corner, and the line between reality and desire becomes a nightmare.
